Prologue: A Journey to Source

I went hiking up the mountain.

The hike led to me a trail that went up the side of two beautiful waterfalls. Hopefully I will be less sore tomorrow. Lol. I can’t remember the last time my face burnt up the way it did from over exertion going up those staircases!! And then so much insight from the clarity of water, once beyond. Yosemite is a treasure trove of stunning beauty and human goodness embedded in the public trust of the National Parks System. I pray and hope that the place itself would turn anyone into a believer of the public trust, no matter how broken they are.

The contradictions that a place like Yosemite presents today is significant enough to take notice, so I want to slow down and tell you what I learned, as I followed the water to the Source and the Sacred.
